Build looks great! Is your hot box double walled? I'm gonna be starting a RF out of a 6x3 foot tank. I'm interested in the preheating burner and am wondering about placement. I'm guessing it should go under the tuning plate? First major trailer mounted build so any advice from your build would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the updates!

Just few add on before i leave to the USA for 2 weeks

add air vents and a pilot flame a flame starter to the pre heating .

 for the firebox a log tray  .

 i got an electronic ignition to ignite the pilot flame the pilot will stay on  all the time of the smoke so if i need Moor heat i can light the preheat.

and it is easy to light the preheat at the beginning without gating dirty

Awsome job !!!! Really can't wait to see the smoke rolling out the stack !!!! Got a question did u make the box for the stack damper and stack mount ? Thanks for any input on that ?

Not sure how I missed this thread up till now. It's looking good and I'll be looking forward to seeing more. When I saw the log lighter I had the same concern as SQWIB about ashes falling down and clogging it up.

Thanks  the log light for the logs got the flame on the sides so it would  not  clogged .(i hope)
