Went to the store last weekend and decided to pic up 2 bottom round roasts.

Really wasn't sure what I was gonna do with them. After looking things up on this forum

I decided to try my hand at making Roast Beef for sandwiches. 

Got them out and sprinkled them with sea salt and course ground black pepper.

So here is some Qview.

After 41/2 hrs at 215* and IT of 147 on the right and 153 on the left.

After slicing and it was very good and tasty.

Looks delicious. I'll bet they make great sammies. Did you catch the drippings for dipping or pouring over sammies ?


NO, I goofed. I was catching the drippings, then by the time the smoking was over I had already forgotten.

My mind slips like that alot. Next time I will put a note on the smoker window. lol

Another thing I should mention, that I forgot about when I made my Rare RB the other week-------Rye Bread !!!!  

Rare Roast Beef, with Swiss Cheese, lots of HR, some Mayo or MW on Rye Bread.

I have about 8 packs in the Freezer yet----Heh-Heh-Heh!!!
