well due to the amount of time it is taking me to build my fridge conversion I saw the masterbuild with the window was on sale so I ordered me one.

89.99 on sale, normal price 300.00 up here.  don't know if it is the 30 or the 42 but for 89 bucks who cares ;)

any sugestions or recomendations for when I get it and get it set up?

Steve

Great price, for 89 bucks I'd grab one.

Nice score!

There good to go right out of the box.

Just check the grate temps against the controller setting

because they are usually off. As long as you know how much you can

adjust the temp accordingly.

I'm with Japan. I would have bought 2.

Great Score!!!

For a start---Follow their directions for seasoning, except most of us don't soak the chips (Try it both ways).

Foil water pan & bottom drip pan before smoking any meat in it.

Always have water pan in position, even if empty, like mine almost always is.

Top vent should be fully open most of the time. (That is also where most of us run our digital temp probes through)

That should get you started----You already know the smoking stuff.

Enjoy,

Bear

LOL---I think "Plenty" is one less than "too many"----And "too many" is one more than "how many you need"----So I guess "Plenty" is equal to "how many you need"!

It works for me!!!!

well no luck, called to find out when it would be in and they said they couldn't get it so I went in today and talked to a manager and expressed my displeasure as this is the third time they have taken my money then said they cant get it.  so I walked out of the store with a Bradley smoker at cost, and a free variety pack of pucks for it.

OK, I had to go back and reread the thread!

I just could not figure out how you got from a Masterbuilt to a Bradley.

How do you like it so far?

Todd

so far it is good.  very simple to set up, use and a lot more space than my ECB, the pucks cost more but not that bad if you buy them in bigger quantities, and it is nice being able to load the puck tube up and not worry about adding more chips.  but that also means I have about 1/2  cord of various types of wood I can't use so I guess I will build another type of burner that I can use with the cold smoke adapter or something like that.

ok so so far I like it.  heres a sample of the appys, next time going to leave the ABT in about another hour but they were still good.
