I was  making sausages and i need to put 2 bars in my MES but they moved and the sausage fell all the time 1bar is not a problem you put  it in the middle. so i made a holder

(if any off you  made it before I'm sorry did not see it.) 

1. it is made from mash wire

Talk to us about the "drip pan" in the top of the smoker.... Is that where you have it when you are smoking meats?  What does it do for improving the smoke?

I just slip the bottom two grates, to either side of the top grate in my 30 and notch some oak dowels.

I made a rack for the MES 40 a while back, but I like these better!

Just when you think you have seen it all .. Some one comes along with a simple solution to a complex question .. Hats off the the Kielbasa Kid .. Great outside the box solution ...

Great info guys! I was just thinking of how to solve this problem yesterday. Local market has Boston Butts on sale and I now have 2 of them for my next day off. Was wondering how to make mods to my MES 30 for just this kind of thing. This site always comes through!
