Hey all! My name is John. I reside in Huntington Beach CA. I am originally from Michigan, but decided to stay here after I got out of the Marine Corps. I have been smoking for about 7 years now. I use a Brinkman propane smoker, 2 Brinkman charcoal, and a Weber charcoal for all of my my smoking. I have visited the forum quite a bit over the last year or so. Man have I seen some really good stuff on here. There seems to be a lot of good cooks on here and good people in general. I have smoked quite a bit of stuff over the years, but pulled pork and smoked trout I do the most.

Looking forward to meeting some new people here and hopefully tuning my smoking skills with some or all of your help!

Welcome to the SMF, nice to see another SoCal smoker, especially from the beach area. Looks like you're enjoy the good reading available to all. Can you suggest something about the traffic on PCH and Beach Blvd? It's all good my friend.

 Thanks!  There are a few of us smokers here in SoCal.  Don't get me started on PCH and Beach Blvd traffic.  It never ends!

Welcome John.  Glad to have another smoker from So CA. I know all about traffic - I have two offices one in San Diego  and one is in Santa Ana so I get to travel to both regularly.

Looking forward to seeing some of your qview

Thanks!  I was stationed here in CA while I was in the Marine Corps.  Traffic is a pain everywhere, but you all back there are a little too slow for me!  Nobodys in a hurry to get anywhere, at least in Michigan anyways.  LOL
