I look at the model number threads for the MES but I get conflicting answers.  The model 20070710 from Academy says it has black sides yet the display model there is all stainless. The model from SamsClub 20070810 has black sides but has a remote control.  Can someone confirm that either the forum or the stores are correct in there websites.

the sams model is a 20070710 to. but the web site shows it to be a 20070810 i don't know

why but it does. but it is a 710 i bought mine at sams

Thats what I dont get about the model numbers.  The sams one has the remote control and the Academy one doesnt.  Is the Sams model all Stainless.

no. the sams model is and allways has been stainless door black body.

The below linked thread covers this subject too.  In short, the 20070810 Sams Club model is a black body and the 20070710 Cabela model is a stainless steel body. Both have stainless steel doors.

You may read a bit on the Wiki and other posts that the 20070710 model has a black body, but I can tell you that I have a 20070710 model and it has a stainless steel body. Until someone else can report that they have physically seen a 20070710 with a black body, I would proceed on the basis that all 20070710 models have a STAINLESS STEEL body. I doubt Masterbuilt made this model with both black and stainless steel bodies using the same model number. That is my opinion anyway

Also, I have found that stock photos on sellers' websites do not always show the correct body color (and so you are smart to not depend on that) and staff answering the phone for these websites do not always correctly know the color of the body.
