I did a burger post monday night and in the discussion that followed I mentioned my pork burgers. It made me get a serious craving for them so I made them tonight and thought I would share. I start with 90/10 ground pork. I put the pork in a bowl and mix with salt, coarse pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes, hot sauce, and carolina mustard bbq sauce. The mustard sauce has cider vinegar, mustard, brown sugar, and assorted spices. I just get the store bought stuff but I would imagine its easy to make. I know Stickey Finger's and Cattlemans make this style of sauce. Its sweet and tangy with a touch of heat. I call these Wilbur's nightmare beacuse they are pork burgers topped with bacon. Overkill I know but hell everything is better with bacon. Grilled em at 450 for about 16 minutes. Amelia made me some green bean casserole beacuse I love it and for some reason she loves me. Here are the pics, enjoy

Now I saw this burger and it still looks good and I really like that sauce to. I'm still gonna say that grill is far too clean so get to smoking/grilling.

I like your style, Stevo, and thanks for sharing your beer with us again!  It's a Hales Ales Red Menace for me this evening. Those pork burgers sound real tasty! Sounds like Amelia has good taste in a number of ways.

Those look awesome too!

You have inspired me to make some for Friday night, and..., that green bean casserole looks and sounds good, ya got a recipe for that too?

Hail to the Queen. I like a woman that enjoys good beer. I haven't heard of Hales but I'll do my research. I don't know if you can get Sweetwater on the West coast but every style they make is great. All of their beers are unpastuerized so I think their market is limited to the mid south. GA TN SC NC VA

She makes it with canned beans, cream of mushroom, worsteschire sauce, s&p, grated cheddar and parmesean, and topped with bread crumbs and French's french fried onions. Thanks for the compliments.

Thank you for the recipe, we have everything but the fried onion rings, but I found a recipe for those so this is on my to do list, probably Sat afternoon because mama just brought home 5# of fresh string beans from the farmers market.
