After hearing all of you talk about the AMNS. I just had to try one out. I just can't believe the consistent TBS you get with this unit. I am using it in a MES 40. Put a pork butt in this AM. 5 1/2 hours later it's still smoking. I could have left home & come back in 6 or 7 hours just to check the meat temp. Thanks, Todd

You are hooked now Al. Bear and Paul and I have been using it for a long time and I stopped using the smoker part of my SmokinTex and only use the AMS because of the great quality of smoke.

Do yourself a favor and get some of the winebarrel dust. Really good with cheese

Congrats on one of your best hobby investments. It's a great unit that performs well. It's all good my friend.

I have enjoyed my AMNS's since I got to test my first one.

Now all you guys still saying that this thing is the best thing since sliced bread. I guess I'll have to give in and maybe I'll get one from Santa

Okay I've heard a lot about this.  Where would you put the AMNS in a masterforge 2 door gas.  I'm worried that the lower shelf would get way too hot and causing it to burn way too quick.  If anyone has experience with this in a masterforge please PM me.

Why wait till then?  This is the time of year that is good for cold smoking, e.g. cheese.  Also good to smoke to that Thanksgiving turkey.

I don't know that smoker -- but would say to put it someplace where it is not going to be subject to a hot gas burner.  In addition to it burning too quick, it is possible that the heat might cause it to warp.  My guess would be that even if it is at the top, the smoke will get around and do its thing.
