I have been dabbling in smoking meats for a little while, I bought a charcoal smoker (the round ones from Home Depot)  I just could not keep it hot, I tried a few times and got better at it.  Smoked Turkeys for Thanksgiving, smoked some pork ribs.  I really enjoyed the experience, so today I went and bought a propane smoker and can't wait to start using it.  I found this is site and it looks like a great place to gain experience.  Thanks in advance!!

First off Welcome Bikr to SMF. Congrats on the new smoker and you will do fine with the ribs and the PP. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also.
