[h6]I have a 5.5 pound ribeye roast. I want to smoke it with apple wood. I just need to know how long and at what heat. Any Idea on a rub?[/h6]

Just my opinion -

"estimate" 30 minutes per pound. I don't cook by time - I cook by temp.

the lower the better, if smoking. 225 if you can. Pull with IT of 130-140. It will be red/pink, but a roast is much different than 130 in a ribeye steak.

S&P are excellent. No need to rub anything else, but you're more than welcome to use just about anything you'd like.

Don't know or care how long but pull at 135 wrap in foil and into ice chest to rest so that it will finish at 140 - 145.
