Hello everyone, my name is Giuseppe, most people just call me Joe, Im 16 and getting into the hobby of smoking meat. I just bought a crappy char-broil h20 bullet style smoker from some lady on craigslist for $15, and im trying to learn off that for now. I can already tell this is going to become very addicting. So basically ive come to learn from others and get this thing going!

Great place to learn a LOT, Joe. Several of us here from the Sunshine State. Others will be along shortly to give you lots of good information about learning your way around here. Of course, some of us who have been here a while are still learning this new format.

Well I'm in the northeast section of Fla here.

First off welcome Joe to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are alot of really good folks that would just love to help you with anything to do with smoking. Now we like having new folks here to give a new prospective on some of the ways we do things around here. Now if you are really new then I would suggest that you sign up fir the 5-day E-course it free and it will give you the basics on smoking and a few recipes too. Here's a link to it:

then you will have a method to your newly found madness and believe me it will be a madness. Then when you start smoking things you will have to learn how to post the pictures / Qview

here. So here's a link to a tutorial on how to post your Qview so we can see what your doing.

Now the next thing you have to do is run out and get something to smoke. Then just smoke it and if you have any questions just post  them here and we will answer all your questions that you might have. Oh yea there's no stupid questions we were all there in the beginning and we just really like to help others enjoy the fabulous smoked foods that we do. So again

Welcome to Your New Addiction

well Im sure I would enjoy that aspect of my town more if I was actually good at fishing! It is true though, the times I have been out weve caught some great fish and shark, and there are some nice spots to dive as well. But on a normal day things can get pretty drab.

Just signed up for the ecourse last night, and i hope my next session will give me something great to show you guys! Thanks for the warm welcome, you and everyone else.

Of course you could catch a couple of Snook and bring them up to Cedar Key sometime. We'll have a great Fish Fry along with some ABT's.
