I scored on a used SmokinTex1400 through Craigslist.

Well, it didn't come with the wheels so not only is it hard to move around, it's also very close to the ground. I hate bending over.

On the SmokinTex website they sell a stainless steel cart with wheels. Unfortunately there are no specs for it.

Does anyone know the height of where the smoker would sit?

I don't know if I'd get that particular cart but the specs would help me find something else that might work for me.

Thanks for any help.

Got the answer:

Hi,

The cart, fully assembled is 22in. high, 18 in. wide and deep. It will hold the 1400 and 1100 smokers. The wheels are heavy duty and 2 of which are locking.

Regards,

Diz

That sure is a nice looking cart, but for $200, I agree that you could find something else that would work.  Even building your own wooden one with casters that you could customize as you see fit (now that you have some dimensions with which to work) would likely be a fraction of that price tag.  Good luck.

Well... what I wanted was the dimensions to work with.

you sly dog...LOL

I did buy the cart and love it. Has two fold-out shelves. You will really enjoy the 1400. I (almost) feel guilty about not tending a fire for 8 to 14 or more hours. Though I will probably buy another stick burner b4 I go to the eternal pit in the sky.1400 makes tremendous barbecue. Cold smoke plate makes awesome smoked salmon etc.
