Wow, I'm surprised I've never tried to make these before. Gotta say NEVER EVER EVER am I going to buy Totinos pizza rolls again if I can help it. Also you know exactly what's in them doing them yourself.

This is perfect to cook over a fire like this because the fire light really made them crispy! Oh my these two dozen are going quick, looks like round two is coming later tonight.

I made them a little spicier too...added a little more red pepper flakes to the pizza sauce and some ground red pepper.

These started off in the roti basket but they were started to get jacked up sliding around (silly idea) so they got moved to the swivel dome.

Appreciate it Al!

I'm with BD,  recipe please.

Dang, those look good.

Thanks guys, recipe is pretty simple.  I used wonton wrappers for the rolls.   These were pepperoni but whatever meat or cheeses you use be sure use a food processor. Use appx 1/2 teaspoon of each the sauce, meat and cheese per roll. I'll post some pics on the rolling of them on the next round which is probably today.

They look great. Football snacks! Recipe please?

Looks great!!!! After seeing this, it's on the to-do list for sure. I'm sure my little sous chef would have fun with it too!

Here's the method I used, I could have made it a little more perfect but you should get the idea. The ingredients need to put near the bottom point.

First put it with point up, 1/2 ts sauce, meat, cheese.
Wet the edges
Fold over leaving a little border
Fold side corners and part of the edges off each corner
Fold over

Let set up in the fridge for a bit, then brush or spray both sides with olive oil and bake till golden brown/crisp on each side flipping part way through. Yea definitely could have made this example a little neater but they tasted great!

Darn! Because of a lot of things going on there might be snow on the ground by the time I get to try some of those.
I will be trying them in the spring though, they look great!
Randy,

FWIsmoker, these pizza rolls look great, I will definitely make these.  My kids would eat Totino's for every meal if we let them, but I have no doubt they would think these are much better.  Since I'm in NW Ohio and you're in NE Indiana, maybe I can come over and pick some up next time you make them

Have you tried making these with anything other than wanton rolls?

Did you just put these on the grill when you made them?  I was trying to figure that out from your first picture.  Thanks for the recipe and step by step.
