Deerburgers & Teriyaki Shrimp

So Mrs Bear said it was Beautiful out, so it was time for some Burgers on the Grill !!

Still have a mess of Deerburger, so that’s gonna be it, plus some Shrimp for me (Mrs Bear doesn’t eat Fish or Seafood).

So nobody get the wrong idea, my Deerburgers are always 50% Venison, 25% Pork, and 25% Beef—Never All Deer. (Best Mix we ever found)

To go along with my Burger, I marinated a bunch of Shrimp in Teriyaki Marinade for a few hours, and grilled them too.

Everything else is in the Captions above each Pic below.

Thanks for stopping in,

Bear

5 Deerburger Patties Raring to go, and Some Shrimp fresh out of the Teriyaki Marinade:

While we wait, another quick shot of my freshly mowed front yard. Plenty of Rain & Sun lately, so it looks pretty nice:

Lookin good Bear!  That's a tasty meal fit for any day of the week at my house!  POINT!

Your yard still looks nice and green!  We had an uncommonly wet summer here, so my grass stayed green longer than we're used to...I was still mowing every week until almost the end of August.  It finally completely died off in the last 2 weeks...but that's OK with me...no more mowing this year!

Thank You Red !

I mowed 21 times so far this year. Started out every 5 days. Then it got dry & had actually went 17 days without mowing. Now it's back to every 5 days.

With the heavy Dew we get now, we don't even need the rain for the grass to grow.

And Thanks for the Points.

I know you don't do Raw Onions,  I'd love to have some Deer burgers, been a long time.

Haven't been on much lately,  Not running on all Cylinders and trying to get a few home projects finished up. Work a while, rest a while. Slowly but surly.

Thank You Mike!

I checked, and it looks like the Burger I have left from this Button Buck should last until my Son gets me some more (Archery starts next month here).

And Thanks for the Points.

You're welcome! There's a farm up the road that raises fallow deer, I may have to run up there and see what the price for some ground venison is :)

Thank You Mike!

Hmmm, That would be interesting.

I never saw any place around SEPA where they sell Venison. Most of the ones that are in pens are foreign deer, and very small.

My kid loves going there since they have a great playground and all the animals to see including crocs. The crocs get the scraps from the butcher shop so theres very little waste. http://www.johnsonsofoldhurst.co.uk
That's pretty cool !!!

I remember when I was a kid, when we went to the mountains, we used to stop at a game farm (Rt 209) to see the animals. They had a Buck there for years, named "Jimmy". We used to hold cigarette butts in the palms of our hands & Jimmy would lick them right out of our hands. That was a big deal for little kids.
