My first overnight smoke last night

Decided it was time
Wife got me BGE for my 40th and decided on a pulled pork

Fired up the egg at 10:45 pm
Pork went on at 11:30

Started freaking out because by 2:00 the temp was already reading 135

Oh yeah and I was fighting all night trying to get temp back down to 225 it was at 280 At its highest
Finally decided to sleep when I hit 150 figured this was the stall

So went to sleep woke up at 7:30 to see my reading at at 160 and crawling up

3 hours later still reading about 165 I decided to foil and crank temp up a bit
Oh and did I mention I needed this done by 11:30

Anyway with 30min to spare i pulled it at 190 and put on cooler for half hour
Ripped it and took it to the school luncheon

I'm still trying to get over how long the stall went on for

yeah i had it all set up and looked at it and realized not the smartest idea I've ever had

it would have become the ugly blue egg instead
