brine or no brine

was looking to smoke a chicken this weekend, i usually inject, instead of brine. i did not think that the brine would soak threw the skin. please help...

I brine sometimes and sometimes i don't. last weekend i cooked a whole bird cut into parts and didn't brine and it still very juicy and delicious.

Depends. If your looking to add flavor then brine. If your looking to add moisture, there is no need to brine. Brining takes longer to get the flavor into the meat than injecting.

A properly cooked bird will be moist without injecting or brining.
