Stumbled into thr forum and read a lot of cooking tips. Been smoking for 20 years or so using New Braunfels smoker till it fell apart, Old Smokey Electric and now a Brinkman Electric. Kids are grown andgone so only cook for me and the bride except for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

LOL.... My first electric was the predecessor to the Old Smokey, a Redi- Smok. Got it in the early 80's. I wore three of them out.

See anything under the charcoal that looks familiar? I bet the bottom fell out of yours...... LOL

Glad your here, have fun, this place is just full of wisdom just oozing out all over the place.

When ya get a chance, click on the "My Profile" icaon on the above tool bar, and tell us a little about you because I know you've probably got a much better memory than me, but I would remember East Texas in a week. KNowing your approx help with explainations, discussions, even getting heads up on sales in your area.
