Sorry for the late post....having reception problems;
Anyhow....We've been sampling various Q on our travels through Texas so I wanted to do a Texas style Xmas Que dinner.
The locals at the RV Park in Aransas Pass were raising their eyebrows when I broke out the MES and the Mini.
The Prime Rib: a 3lber....Boned out...coated with Woshy and SPOG
Some Armadillo Eggs, Smoked Beef Sausage and Hasselhoff Taters
A few hours of this....(right behind the RV so my iGrill2 still connected)
And finally.....an Excellent smoked Prime Rib, with Armadillo Eggs, Hasslehoff Taters and smoked Barracho beans (over mesquite)
The PR and Beans were done in the MES30...should've pulled it 5F earlier, but it was still tender and juicy...and the smokey flavor was great. I really enjoyed the armadillo egg (first one i had, but i like the concept)..
All and all wife and kids enjoyed a great smoked xmas dinner in Texas. One for the memory books.
Thanks Texas
