Which System is Best .... the Mail Box or This Charcoal Grill Setup???

What set up is best, the mail box system or this charcoal grill system? I think this Charcoal Grill System is pretty neat.

It's cool!  Maybe no hole(s) to drill in this little grill method plus built in damper(s) for air regulation.  Plus it's a mobile grill.  Somebody stop me  .............!

That does look awesome! But I guess it depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it... I like the Mailbox mod because it is still "set and forget" with the AMNPS, rather than having to manage coals. But on the other hand, I wonder if this would rend a smoke ring to an electric smoker??? If it does produce a smoke ring, I think I may want to add one of these! (I know the smoke ring is just sort of unnecessary, but most people admire a good smoke ring when I serve up some BBQ, and I've missed seeing it since I switched to Electric)

Also, I guess you could even use this as a "mailbox mod" since im sure an AMNPS would fit perfectly in there, this option does seem more versatile! Ive never seen that before, so I may just give that a try!

If I bought one of these little grills, I was thinking of putting the AMPNS inside this Charcoal Grill.

The picture of this set up is from someone else's post here. However I thought it neat and unique. so I copied and pasted it here for others to see and their opinions between the mailbox and using the AMPNS in this grill.

Gotta say, just from a "LOOKS" angle, a clean mailbox mod is hard to beat.

In the "works great" department, I`m leaning towards a tie.

As far as "mobility", not sure that`s much of an issue with an electric smoker.

Not really what a guy would call a stow and go outfit.

Kinda like yours though...

So, if I add up my points for good and bad, and since I`ve already added a mailbox to my rig..

I`m voting MAILBOX

Why not build a wood/charcoal fire in the grill. This would give both smoke & heat. I think it's a great idea.
