hey there everybody i have a measterbuitl smoker and its good but the only problem is i feel like my meat does not get enough smoke flavor or a smoke ring. i have the am,zen pellet smoker but have only used it for cold smoking cheese. would the amazen pellet smoker give my meats a better smoke flavor and smoke ring? any answers would be great!

Like others have said, if electric you won't get a smoke ring. That's just for show anyways. You will get a better smoke with the AMNPS and you won't have to keep loading chips into your tray as a full load of pellets will burn for 12+ hours.

I get a beautiful smoke ring with my Cajun Injector Electric smoker only using my smoke box. I am going to buy the Amazen Pellet Smoker just so I don't have to keep feeding my smoker every 2 hours. :)

A wise choice on the AMNPS. I have the same smoker, but can't say I've ever noticed a smoke ring on anything that's come out of it.

The smoke ring is just nitric oxides which is a byproduct of fire in simple terms... it produces nitrites. using an AMNPS you might get a bit of a ring but it's the taste that counts. Think of cured meats that are red all the way through before you even show them the fire, that's just nitrites. No smoke even necessary for a smoke ring. It looks nice and *can* indicate that it's been cooked on coals, but doesn't do anything other than look nice.
