Ive been smoking meats for about 4 years now. I really enjoy the art. Always learning new things. Im kind of teater toting on starting comp bbqing. Just havent taken that big step yet. One thing im having to work on now is mods. I just bought a charbroil 1280 and its not really that bad of a smoker. I think a deflector, tuning plates, and some time it will be a fine smoker on a budget. Thanks for allowing to join yall.

Welcome aboard Billy and thank you for joining.  Congratulations on your new smoker.  Post up some pictures of some of your smokes when you get a chance.
