As most know I take my time and do a bunch of research prior to purchasing equipment for this hobby. I have been researching grinders for over three years now. I finally bit the bullet and ordered this one :

Some of the selling features for me were the multi speed, multiple knifes, and the 3 grinding plates. The fact that is comes with stuffing tubes is a mute point s I have the LEMon squeezer with stainless tubes for stuffing. The Kubbe attachment sounds interesting and I guess I will have to learn how to make kubbe now!

This unit will arrive tomorrow and I will give a full report as I have 5 pounds of beef and pork waiting to be ground up for a special sausage smoke this weekend!

More to follow!

Looks like that one should do the trick.

I'll be watching!

Looks like a nice grinder.  Kubbe, never heard of it until I went to the link.  Google now has me interested in that as well.

I received this last year for christmas with the same LEM stuffer than you have.  Luckily I have had no problems with the stuffer.  I have to say, this a great unit.  It's, fast, powerful and relatively easy to clean.  I haven't purchased store ground meat or sausage of any kind since I started using this.  It make's quick work out of meat in any state, frozen, semi frozen, etc.  Just ground 16 pounds of pork with it in minutes to make one of Richie's @tropics  sausage recipes.  Can't wait to to see the delicious food that comes from this bad boy!!!

Good to know! It looks like a great machine and the reviews sold me. We too grind allof our own meat and have just been using the Kithenaid attachment. Which works okay for 5# batches but not much more. A buddy has 50# of venison that we are going to turn into summer sausage and snack sticks so this purchase was a needed must.

Looks good DS hope she works well for ya,,, I just ordered some 1 1/2" fiborous casings,,,going to do some small summer sausage myself,

Interested in your review.

A full smoker is a happy smoker

Kibbeh is a tasty treat for sure! Whats not to like, meat wrapped in meat and fried! goes good with tazeki sauce!

Kube? That's the one I read was from China and is being recalled because the plastic motor case is toxic (recycled from India). Check the instructions and see, I think due to that plastic, its says plainly do NOT grind anything with ice or water. It was to be dry. That was why they were giving the three knife blades, because the dry friction wears 'em down so fast.

<Chuckles>

Grats Case. Its a sausage makin we will go!

Will this grinder make schmaltz?

Well you know, all out fish now comes with plastic or oil in it depending on which ocean its caught from.

I'll just lube those blades really well and add plenty of hot water to my grinds!
