Cooked up some sausage and mixed it with pancake batter, cooked the pancakes, then topped with a poached egg and drizzled with maple syrup. Sounds kind of strange, but the result was sweet yet savory - not too bad. (I remember eating Smithfield country ham as a kid drizzled with maple syrup)
