Winter is my favorite time to hot tub, but because my other favorite fun thing to do is eating - problem... the food freezes as it sits out in the cold, sometimes for a couple of hours.

Solution: made a "boat" out of a chafing dish we had lying around - now the boat full of meats and cheeses warms as it floats past the people in the tub - have not had a leak yet, but it is only me and the missus in the tub.  Probably not for someone with kids.

When I saw the "boat" of munchies floating in the hot tub it reminded me of what my brother would say... "I wonder what the poor people are doing?" He's kidding of course but it always makes me laugh.....

Glad it doesn't typically get that cold down here!

Love my hot tub... best time of yr is mid winter. As long as it not windy, wife and I will be out there every chance we get. Coldest was -25*f... had to keep splashing water on our ears and nose to keep them warm...
