Is $29.99 a good price for the Stok cast iron grate?

Hello all,

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or the gadget forum, so apologies if I was wrong.

I wasn't in the market for anything like this, but came across a sale at an outlet store the other day.

Looks like this:

I've looked at the Weber version before but it's one of those things where it would be a nice option, but I don't need it. This is priced lower, and is (porcelain enameled) cast iron to boot. While I don't know how many inserts I'd be interested in, it would allow me to play around with a wok I already own etc. Is $29.99 too good to pass up? Thanks!

I'm really leaning towards it. I don't typically buy odds and ends constantly, but here's the way I'm looking at it:

1. Cast iron grate at a good price

2. Will extend the life of my standard grate

3. Will accommodate my wok, not to mention the official inserts and any diy creations

4. The removable center looks like it would fit the top of a chimney well. I've wanted to play with that as a cooking method for a while.

Plus, the camelcamelcamel.com numbers from Amazon make the deal look pretty good:

Current - $58.00

Highest - $60.20 - Sep 12, 2012

Lowest- $26.99  - Aug 29, 2014

Average - $48.14

Getting closer!

Go for it. I'm a gadget guy, so you know I'd buy it. Seriously, it seems like a good deal. I always like having plenty of options.
