I have a problem.. I can't keep from looking at garage sales, craigs list ect for grills and smokers. I can't pass up a good deal.
I am running out of space to put them.
My wife says why do you need all of them?
She should know what I have in the shed
Is there any hope for me?

I have passed on two great deals recently on CL for WSMs.  They are my weakness, but thankfully I still own only one.  I try not to go to CL because I always find something that screams "BUY ME!"  Doesn't hurt much to take a peek occasionally though.

Allow me to help you with the art of involving your wife in your collection.  Normally if I talk about something I want long enough she'll put them on my birthday or Christmas list and either buy them for me or she puts pictures in a card and gives it to me.  Recently I mentioned building a cinderblock pit with an Argentine grill crank to add to an outdoor kitchen I want to build.  I even pointed out a local manufacturer of the crank set, making sure she understood where to find their website, showing it to her too, and explaining what I'd like to do.  I could tell she likes that idea.  I'll keep talking it up and see if I end up with a gift card to buy the materials in my Christmas stocking!

I could just go out an buy all this stuff myself.  Where's the fun in that?  This way she feels a part of it!

I am totally with you here.  I search craigslist every day looking for new grilling and smoking toys.  I now have 11 grills and/or smokers on my property only 3 of them that were purchased new.  My wife uses my purchases as justification for her own shopping.  She does get disappointed when I tell her how little I spent!  Right now this is my line up:

Weber Genesis 310 Gas

Weber Performer 22 Charcoal

Weber Smokey Joe Gold

Weber 26 Charcoal

Weber 22 OTG (Blue) Charcoal

WSM 18

MES 30 Electric

Masterbuilt Dual Fuel Propane Smoker

Pit Barrel Cooker

Weber q3000 Gas

Coleman 6 Burner Gas Grill (My dad's old grill that needs repairs but I just cant get rid of it)

I would be up to 13 but I gave a couple away.  I am so hooked on it that I even search for other people.  Just gave my friend a Weber 22 OTS the other day because I got that and the WSM 18 for only $75.

I still feed like a need a WSM 22, a pellet grill, and one day a stick burner!  Woudn't mind an MES 40 either for bigger loads of sausage, bacon, and cheese.

I need help haha

Hey Work...
You have too many. Let me help you out..
I will take the Blue OTG off your hands..yum...

I can see a stocking full of coal, lump charcoal that is.

LOL! My wife says the same thing!

I try not to have more than one of the same type of smoker, though.

Well, that's not true. I do have two electrics, but one looks like this:

And the other looks like this:

I don't have a BGE yet, though...

Seriously, I do this too! Lately though I'm seeing a lot of junk that has a pic of it sitting with weeds growing up thru it....for a ridicilous price. But I'm always looking!

My wife loves my smoking & grilling obsession, especially when the food is ready & she hasn't had to cook. So much so, that while we were sitting on the patio having our morning coffee, she was scoping out the yard for a site for "your outdoor kitchen" to be built.

She's a keeper!

So have you smoked coffee beans yet?  <Chuckles>

Check her closet for shoes and purses.

Don't forget to check the top shelf where they hide things?

After that.  You might need a good lawyer?

Good luck and good smoking.
