Don't freak out, I'm bored and just thinking outloud to see why it may, or may not work, throwing things against the wall to see what sticks if you will.

So I see RV builds, well that won't work on my BTLE, the stack will be in the way of the three door IMO. So what's so crazy about a double reverse flow? More mass to heat up, plenty of smoke still? Should be plenty of room for two reverse plates?
I don't know, honestly, just a crazy idea rattling around in my head.

So you want to have the smoke drawn from the fire box down to the far end, then back towards the fire box again? That is a long run and will increase the amount of draw needed. You would probably end up with the smoker not pulling hard enough to draw the air that far.

Yup, that's the idea. Anyone else have any input on potential problems with this idea?
I'm not going to be offended, I promise, it's just a crazy idea I had and wondered why it hadn't been done before.
So now I know draw may be an issue, any other thoughts?

It sounds like an interesting idea I'm no engineer or anything by any means but it almost seems like a long ways for the heat to travel. You'd need allot of draw and allot of fuel. But it is a neat idea

Sounds like you just described a normal reverse flow smoker to me... It sounds like the OP wants it to go from the FB to the end of the CC.. back to the FB.. and then back to the opposite end of the CC again.. but as you say it will take a lot of draw.. and then with all that friction it would have to be pretty good size passage ways for it to draw correctly... JMO ...
