The town had it's annual carnival this weekend so we decided to have a party and drink all day. Made up a double batch of jeffs rub for the butts. I did two 7 pounders and an 8 pounder. I also did 24 ABTs filled with cream cheese, sausage, cheddar and jeffs rub. Cooked the butts at 275 and they got done in 6 hrs.

All rubbed down and ready to go.

Both smokers on the job for this one.

Had to take a peek at them when they hit 160. I foiled them at 170 and threw them back one.

Here is one of the finished butts. I didn't get any pictures of it pulled because people started digging in. I also didn't get any pics of the ABTs for some reason. I know...I suck hah. Thanks for looking!

Looks great. I did my first butt cook for a large group bout a month ago.

Feels good when it disapears.

Thank ya!  It turned out awesome I think.  The leftovers are going to get made into pulled pork pizza on the grill tomorrow hopefully.  Thought about doing one of the pizzas on the UDS smoker to see how that turns out but I am afraid the dough would pull in way too much smoke.
