Lots of fun with our block party.  I did all the cooking...didn't get all the cook pics but hung the 44 lbs, hung 6 lbs chicken breast, 6 lbs boneless skinless thighs, rotisseried some wings and did a ton of Koegel hot dogs on the jimmy and grate cooked some over the fire while rotissering the wings.  Butts were on for 5.5 hours and rested for a couple hours in a cooler.

Thank you aggie.  It was new to me, it was nice getting a team effort from the folks that put it on!

I love 'em all circled up around that pinata. I see the little kid with to move back away from it! LOL

I see water in the street, but no water balloons or squit guns.

Sure looks like a good way to cut down the crime in the neighborhood, and get to know all your neighbors. Its a good thing when something happenes to know who needs what assistance.

Oh and I didn't forget all that great looking food.

Me too!  LOL, if not i would have had to go to plan B and haul down the drum.
:confused:Wow , Keith that WAS some block party . My neighbors don't complain , but they don't socialize:icon_lol:.

Have fun and . . .
Thanks!   I know what you mean...for whatever reason there are some great friendships around here.

Thanks foam!   The kids get soooo excited for this get together!     Last year they did water balloons, this year the fire department let them squirt low pressure hoses!   Good times.

Looks like a great time. We used to do this in my old neighbourhood every August. 3 big kegs in my garage, A pig roaster in the middle of the cul de sac, about 20 barbecues cookin' other stuff, a hundred drunk neighbours around 3am... and one drunk dog. After that night my dog never touched beer again.

LOL, that's awesome!   We only had about 20 drunk neighbors at 1 AM and at 3 AM it dwindled down to about 10. haha

Great food, great neighbors... what else is there..... Thanks for the pics..... ..Thumbs Up..Thumbs Up..Thumbs Up

Yeah, I'd like to do it again, but it's so difficult getting all the neighbours to agree.
Yeah.... its just not the same without the dog.

Looks like it worked out pretty well.
