Hi Everyone,

I'm doing 5 slabs of baby backs for the 4th. I have to make an appearance at the father in laws for about 2 hours. If I smoke the ribs to get done just before I leave for the father in laws, should I keep them wrapped in foil in a coolor or maybe an oven set at it's lowest setting? or should I just smoke them in the morning and chill them. and sauce/reheat in the oven when I get back from my father in laws?

Thanks

Pork ribs are pretty easy to time. I'd smoke them in the morning so they'd be done about the time you have to leave. Wrap them in a double layer of HD foil and transport wrapped in towels in a cooler. Open and serve. They'll be hot and ready.

This one^^^^^^, although reheating on a grill is my preference.

Husker, I did 6 racks for a fishing trip. Reheated on a hot charcoal grill, lightly sauced.

A minute or two on each side just to warm them up.

Worked well for me.
