FINALLY got some Tatonka Dust for Father's Day.  Trying it out tonight on a few ribeyes.   Currently in the WSM with no heat and the AMNTS with Oak:


Will let them sit in smoke for a bit before firing the Summit.  More to come.
 
Thanks guys - can't wait to try it.   Foam - you use this as a pepper shaker?
 
Yes sir, That too. I use it as I would any other spice, not really a rub. Its a group of spices which is perfectly blended for beef IMHO. Its like a dry steak sauce. It compliments instead of covering the flavors.

Course thats just my my humble opinion.

BTW Pop sometimes puts it on his eggs

Agree with Foamheart on the shaker. Only problem is it will disappear faster!

Thanks Duke, I got a 1lb bag and a shaker as a gift so hopefully it doesn't go too fast!
