Thinking about smoking some meatloaf would appreciate and tips or ideas Anton has tried.

Make your favorite recipe and smoke it. Notnin special. Just go easy on the smoke. Ground meat takes smoke easy.

Once you smoke meat loaf, you will never use your oven again. Smoking meat loaf is a wonderful way to go. Be sure to use Bradley racks or something to give the loaf a good foundation. Good luck, Joe

My wife resisted smoked meatloaf for quite some time. She absolutely refused to add smoke to one of her favorite dishes. She was travelling and I smoked a meatloaf the night before she came home. She took one bite and said "Okay, I was wrong. This is the way to make meatloaf!"

My wife said the same thing when I said I was making Bologna. She tell everybody it the best bologna she ever had

Agreed.  I've only done it a few times now, but every time I try something new in/on it, I regret not just making a dang meatloaf.  And all I use on top near the end is a light coating of a thinned out (beer) BBQ sauce.  Definitely not something to over-think.
