Hello all,

So I was in the mood today for blackened flounder. I haven't made this in ages and I don't know what possessed me to make it today, but I just had to have it!

Well as luck would have it, there were a few fillets in the freezer. So I heated up the cast-iron skillet on the grill mixed up some blackening seasoning and went to work .

The flounder was cooked 2mins per side with butter drizzled over the fillet...A very delicious and **cough** healthy **cough** meal!

Hope everyone enjoys the look

I'm not a fish fan but love the blackened part! Hope you enjoyed it!!

Nice Job, Love Blackened Flounder

Thanks b-one I did enjoy it!!! Especially when it's something that you haven't had in awhile!

Sorry to hear you don't like fish! The blackened fillets shred up into some pretty killer fish tacos topped with coleslaw, pickled onion and cilantro...but everybody has their own tastes

Thanks Gary! Good stuff!! So now that I made that, I'm thinking of making blackened chicken ABTs. I would dice up the chicken and mix with cheddar cheese and some cream cheese and then just stuff the jalapeno like that. What do you think?

This is what happens when I make something, I always tend to spend it off into something else!!!

Tasty looking fish!

Chicken, pulled pork, shrimp, smoked salmon, brunt ends, whatever protein you like makes a nice addition to ABT's.

You can blacken a shoe and I would probably eat it!

I had you in mind when I thought of that for your dislike of fish! If you ever make something like that, let me know how it comes out! I'll probably won't be able to use the smoker until next weekend.

If I do it would be posted! I won't be firing up the smoker most likely for a while busy with work.

Thank you Leah!! Your meals and pictures just look absolutely amazing!!!
