Just picked this barrel up from a local vendor. He said the barrel contained an adhesive used for silicone Implants. He said it was a barrel full of boobs lol. my question is... Is this barrel safe for smoking meat? it has no liner and there's a little dirt on the inside. I plan on doing a full burn out And using a smoke daddy kit. If this barrel isn't usuable... I won't risk it. Thanx.

It should work. If you get all the residue out of it and have clean bare metal left than it will be fine. The lid looks like it has a liner on it but you can torch or grind it off.

Booby barrel huh

You'll have to do Chickens for her Maiden cook. She's destined for the Chickens anyhow

I see you are not used to my 'Humor' .

I meant since you said it was filled with Silicone to make implants

, that you would connect the phrase with 'Breast' .

Then I carried it on and  , since it had something to do with Breast , that reminded me of Chicken Breast .

I thought it would be funny to  connect the UDS with it all . I knew you were going to

Season it , so I figured you'd use Chicken

, and it all got  condensed to my statement.

It's all good. I guess I'm slow and
Missed the punch line lol. Can't. Elieve this drum had products to make a woman's chest more endowed!

Serious question: I'm gonna be using the big Pappas smoke drum kit. I see there's no water ash pan. I figured a deep dish pizza pan would work for catching ashes. What do y'all do for a water pan set up in a uds? Thanx

Damn... Nobody replied to my thread today :(
I'm sure a lot of people are like me and don't check SMF over the weekend.

I don't use a water pan. I asked that question when building my UDS and the overwhelming response was that a water pan is not required.

I use an 18" deep dish pizza pan as an ash catcher and it works great. I cut a small section of the side out to make it easier to get the ashes and grease out.
