I have a "Backyard Grill[emoji]8482[/emoji] Stainless Steel 4-Burner Gas Grill - BY14-101-001-02"and all last summer it grilled fine with no issues. So before May we decided to get the tank topped off and have a cookout.. Grill started up with nice high flames, but about 30-60 seconds later regulator safety toggles and gas flow is cut, causing my flame to die out slowly... serious bummer.

The grill does light when I only use one burners, but if any more are turned on the stay lit for a couple of seconds then it dies out...

Please help!!

Things I have tried/been instructed to do:

Reset Regulator -
I have reset regulator multiple times. used different methods.

Replace regulator - I have tried three different regulators, different brands from hardware store...

Check for leaks - soapy water sprayed on propane tanks fittings, regulator, lines, manifold. no bubbles.

Clean burners - holes and debris cleaned out.

full/semi/slowly opened propane tank before starting

Check where the burners attach they usually slip onto a pipe like fitting if it has been sitting often times spiders or mud dobbers will build a nest there

I took it apart and  no issues, but maybe after some extra suggestion I will disassemble once more.

If you've tried that many regulators and turning it on slowly then it about has to be something between the regulator and the burner since you've checked for leaks it almost has to be an obstruction of some type

Tried my father-in laws tank and that was the fix... Maybe air in tank? going to have it purged and try the tank one last time before just replacing... it was a blue rhino by the way

Cool beans.  Have no idea what could be wrong with the Rhino tank.  I probably wouldn't bother with  a purge, just exchange it
