My wife will divorce me if I buy it...

I need to open a restaurant so I can write this stuff off on my taxes!

That's a tough deal to pass up Woody.... Good luck if ya pursue....[emoji]127867[/emoji]. Dunno if I could resist....

Welsh, I must be the dumbest person who ever looked on CL. I can never find anything. I think you enter your home area and then the category of the item you are looking for and magically all of these great bargains come flying your way. I'm not sure any of that is anywhere near correct, but I think that's what I've been told???

Hope you have some Kiawe pellets! Guava pellets? Those Huli Huli guys are gonna give you Crap!

Guess you can use it to make bread!!!!'

Just tell the wife it's her new outdoor "oven" with optional smoke feature!

The trick with craigslist is you have to be patient but always checking because the good stuff goes fast...

I actually looked into making my own pellets from local wood and entry level machines, you need at least three, will set you back $4,500. The huli huli guys don't operate in Kona! I talked to my wife about getting a pit and she said okay if I quit the fish market!

Again, my wife is on to me and my reflexes aren't what they use to be... I'm no spring turkey anymore!

You just made me check Craigslist.  I never see anything that good.  I usually see people trying to hock used stuff for what they bought it for and people posting ads for retail stores.

I looked for my area and found a custom pit maker advertising their pits (http://www.katbbqsmokers.com/), some UDSs and a few old rusted smokers.

I switched over and looked for a gas grill instead.  I found one person selling a high end unit ($750+ when new) that they have had for a few years for $50 because the flame was not as strong as it used to be.  Being nice and looking for good karma, instead of buying it (cause I do need a new gasser),, I emailed them and let them know of that the regulator is going bad.  I also let them know that this is a $20-ish fix from HD or Lowes.

Did you know that some gas grill companies recommend that you don't turn your tank on full right away? They say a quarter turn until lit and then your able to open all the way up. I've actually had customers do this when having regulator issues and it's fixed their problem. Managing an area that has grills is awesome and I love THAT part of my job and seeing my associates look at me like I'm crazy when I have a customer leave with a full cart of things and a smile.
