After 37 years and three restaurants in Kent County I've thrown in my kitchen towel and started up the K-B Market and Kitchen School with my wife. Only the two of us....no twenty-three employees. Just doing what we love which for me is continuing my love affair with fire and playing with pigs and other small animals that fit on my 68"X34" butcher block table as well as running some cooking classes and small dinner parties on the side (for the time being). We barbequed at home for years with a cinder block and tin pit until we bought a Cookshack smoker and sold ribs and such for almost ten years at our restaurant in Kennedyville. I hope one day we'll be able to sell fresh, smoked and cured products to the neighbors but that's a slow train coming.
