Wilmington,NC
Anyone from the wilmington,NC area know where I can get a good cut of brisket, we just moved here from CT, and still learning the area.

Try wally world or your wharehouse stores like sams, costco or BJ's  They will have them

You'll find very few butcher shops in nc.....  Most are chain stores

Yeah, go figure.  What else would ya expect in tar heel and blue devil country?  He wants to buy meat not chains..............lol.  Sorry had to get that dig in.......come to Kentucky where we have loads of butcher shops with top quality pork and beef.

I lived about an hour north of there in Jacksonville for two years. We would drive down every other weekend to get our groceries at Harris Teeter. They seemed to have the best selection and quality in the area. Never bought brisket there but I am sure they either have it or will get it for you.

OK, thanks, I'll give them a try this weekend
You will probably have better luck finding pork products in that part of the state. You are just minutes from a bunch of hog farms so pork seems to be the go to meat. I have a family friend that has about 5,000 pigs less than an hour outside of Wilmington that are sold to Smithfield (Smithfield has a processing plant about 1.5 hours from Wilmington).

Hope you can find what you are looking for, Be sure and let us know

Harris teeter, food lion, will only have the flat. Be prepared to pay about $6 /lb for the flat there. You made the right choice coming to NC. I moved here 27 years ago. Its a beautiful state..... You'll like the coast too. Great Fishing out near atlantic beach and harkers island.....awesome
