A bit early, but I've never had a problem with a party getting started sooner than later!

Got a good balcony for us to sit on?  I have sausage and beer!

Balconies are for adults and rookies! Lee Circle is for the professional partiers LOL. Park a U-Haul on a side street filled with pot-a-pottys, cases of beer, bottled water and those silly wine spritzers for the ladies. Load the front up with hay for those unable to motivate any farther. A couple a changes of clothes for when ya get really ripe. You renew the ice in the chests daily.

I just can't keep up anymore, I try but its a pretty sad sight.......LOL

About the only balcony left on Bourbon is the Royal Sonesta, or the upstairs bar at the Embers, most everything else is private. I have once, once got to spend a day in room next to WWL's. Thats the local N.O. tv station, they had 3 rooms and we had the forth just above the entrance. It was fun to laugh at all the drunks bumper to bumper in the streets while listening to the guys yelling up to our girls (while showering up beads and dubloons), to show some body part.

Of course I got in trouble, I told my friend she should give them 1/2 the beads and dubloons back. ROFLMAO! There was 6 guys with dates sharing his grandmothers room (2 double beds).

If you assoc. w/ the oilfield, Oil companies have some unbelievable hospitality houses w/ courtyards just off the street. McCullough, Halliburton, Schlumberger. Baker Hughes, Cameron, FMC, etc etc etc.....

I would bet the Royal Sonesta is completely booked, but it would be your first choice for a balconey in the main stream,

That was mostly a joke on my part.  I did Mardi Gras about 20 years ago and once was enough for me!

I'd rather watch it on TV these days.  Easier to get a drink from the kitchen.  LOL

I agree and you don't have to circle up to take a leak while watching it at the house either........

But these days you can buy your way on a krewe and the krewe's floats, Krewe of Endymion. Saturday night in the superdome. Big party and not too too bad.
