Hi There.

Long time BBQ fan first time smoker. The wife and I bought a MES 30 last week and I smoked my first Butt Saturday (and into Sunday). Took way longer than it "should" have (based on weight) but with all the reading I had the meat is ready when the meat is ready. On the plus side it was AWESOME!

It was the first pulled pork I ever had that didn't *need* BBQ sauce. Really good stuff. Can't wait to do another one.

Thanks for a great forum on this topic! Tons of info here! Learning something new every time I log on.
