MEATLOAF!!!! read somewhere that you can put applesauce in your meat loaf so what the heck!

Thought I was going to get to do my first cold smoke today, but it warmed up to 44. So normal temp smoke. Have the mini running at 285, cherry and pecan.

I think the raspberries are done...

3 pounds of 80/20. Sautéed onion and garlic. Half cup applesauce, dash or ten of Worchestershire, squeeze if Guldens spicy mustard, salt pepper.

Might make a glaze, but not sure in that yet.

Thing really shrunk!

Tasty! I did glaze with some Baby Rays BBQ and topped with some Parmesan. Tasty!

Looks great. We use applesauce in alot of stuff in place of eggs.

Not sure what it did, the applesauce that is, didn't add any flavor, and wasn't needed for moisture, but it was in there.

We use it alot in cake mixtures. It keeps the cake moist.

Never used it in a loaf.

I love a good meatloaf sandwich........ Mom never made meatloaf. Seems that right after marriage, Mom still learning to cook, she feed Pop some questionable meatloaf and he was sick for three days. LOL She never attempted another in her lifetime. So I thought it was great whenever I could get any.

That's one of the main reasons I make meatloaf is for the Sandwees! Nothing better, bit of mayo, mustard, ketchup, horseradish, piece of lettuce oh yeah!
