I've been creeping on this site for a good long time now and figured it was about time to make it official. Been bbq'ing for about 15 years, gradually moving from Weber kettle to cheap offset to pellet smoker and recently added vertical offset stick burner.

Thanks for all the great info I've picked up here!

Monroe for me.

Not sure if my fellow Nutmeggers have the same issue but I have a heck of a time finding whole brisket down this way...usually have to head up to Bogner's in Manchester or reach out to a competition bbq friend of mine to piggyback on his Restaurant Depot trip.  Ribs, butts, birds, etc. much easier to get my hands on.

Thanks again all!

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from another  Cold  day in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of                    information on just about  everything

Not too hard to get a whole brisket here in Middletown. We have Meadow Meat Co. here in town. They can get anything from a little ole chicken to whole hog or whole cow as well as many different kinds of game meats!

My wife works at cvh in Middletown and will often pick stuff up for me at Meadow Meats. Otherwise, I like Salem prime cuts in Salem.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
