Well I dropped the fire box to under the rf plate and welded the thing on . I will have to weld a plate over the bottom portition because of my misjudgment in my figuring .
 
That opening between the FB and CC doesn't look like 311 square inches... You might check it out and make any changes now.....
Dave that's the front of my fire box my plate was a few inches short so I have to add a bit to it but I'm thinking of installing a sliding gate/door for air intake and to clean the ashes out

Cut the material last night for my hinges just have to grind them and dress them up. I'm thinking of drilling holes in them to dress them up a bit.
 
Ok yall I'm tring to figure out my stack or stacks per the figures I need 102" of 5". 51" at two stacks of 5" any other ideas
 
An 8" stack would only need to be 39"
