Pork tenderloins were on sale at the grocery store this week. $1.99/lb for honey mustard flavor and $2.49/lb for plain all natural. Picked one of each up and did the mustard one in the oven the other night. It was good...but I wanted more. Tonight I decided to just grill the plain one at the last minute. Rubbed it down with my go-to about 30 minutes before I put it on. Just did it indirectly on the Smokey Joe.
About a half chimney of Kingsford Competition with a handful of pecan chips.
After about 35 minutes indirect, flipping once, I put it over the coals. It was about 120 internal at this point.
Double wrapped it in HD foil, brought it up to the apartment and started the sides. Quinoa with roasted garlic and broccoli with cheese sauce.
All in all it was a hit. The pork was freakin' awesome, great smokey flavor and butter tender. And all in under an hour!!
