Hi guys, new here and new to smoking. Been using my charcoal grill for a while now and always wanted to get into smoking so I recently bought a Brinkmann Trailmaster Limited Edition. I've done a few cooks in it now, and looking to start doing some mods to get even better cooks out of it.

Hey rustyscrew and welcome. I'm new also but having fun with this smoking thing. Great site here and really good folks with great advise when you need it. I've learned real quick, experiment on your own and don't hesitate to ask for advise/info. BTW, what area of FL are you in? I'm in Daytona/Ormond Beach area. Again, Welcome.

this is for both Rusty and Copout... don't know if y'all have seen the thread for the Fl. Gathering coming up in Nov... a bunch of us get together and see how others cook.. get ideas from one another... eat some good food... maybe drink a beer or two... and so on.. here's the link if you haven't seen it...

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

Ditto! @rustyscrew  and @copout27  we'd love to have you (and your family?) at the gathering! We have a great time every year. It's also a family friendly environment. Anyone with any experience is welcome.
