Did another early morning smoke of Jeff's Chicken Lollypops from the newsletter a while back. The first batch was great and were snatched up and scarfed down in record time, so I nearly doubled the amount this time. I did manage to save one back for

The rave reviews were no less complimentary this time around and one even went so far as to say "Man, you could win some competitions with these!!!!"
This time I cut back a bit on the cayenne and added about a half a cup of Cherry pie filling (minus the cherries:-) to Jeff's sauce recipe. The balance between the lemon juice in the sauce was balanced very nicely with the sweet of the filling and it had just enough kick to make it interesting and add another layer of yum!
I can't think of a thing I would do differently on the next batch, so these were a resounding success~! Thanks Jeff!!!!
