Didn't smoke them but figured I would share with the group. Baked the filets with lemon juice and butter inside a pouch of tin foil. Cooked at 350 for 20 minutes and seasoned with Chesapeake Bay seasoning.

That looks incredible! I need to get ahold of some rockfish soon. Between you an Leah I'm practically drooling at the thought of it.
I really like the granite groupers and boulder bass when making fish tacos! I steer clear of the travertine trout though!

Never developed a taste for monolithic mackerel though. A little on the heavy side [emoji]128516[/emoji]
'Round the bay they're just known as rockfish. Can them a striped bass and people will give you a funny look
