I jyst down loaded 2 pictures of my grill, I don't see it as of yet, I hope I did it right lol

Hello Steve, welcome to the forum

Gary S

What type of Char-Broil grill do I have??
Is it a Santa Fe or another type?

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say it looks like a Santa Fe. Is it possible that it missing a shelf on the left side of the unit. Should be a shelf on both sides, not just the right side. The front door on the unit looks different than the current model. I would look around it real close and see if you can locate any numbers stamped into the metal.

I had to take the shelf off of the left side to get it home and haven't put it back on yet.
Thank you for the feed back, I'll order a thermostat fir it.

You might want to consider buying an after market thermometer onto it as the manufacturer pieces and usually not very accurate. I was hoping someone that owned this puppy would have chimed in by now...

Im new at this, could you recommend one?
I'll probably go to Wally's to find one

Hey Steve, Sure. Maverick makes thermometers that can be used in grills. Depending on the size of the hole in your Santa Fe, you can remove the old one and put in the new one or mount the new one next to the old one. Always boil test it before mounting it so that you have a baseline for the accuracy.

I know maverick makes an adjustable model, but not sure if Wally World sells it or not. I'm sure they will have something decent though.
