Hello All w/ Q-View,
I'm a little embarrassed that I've been a member for a little over year and am just now getting into roll call. So a little about me. I'm was born and raised just south of Atlanta Georgia. Played college baseball at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga Tennessee before joining the USAF in 2007. I've been on active duty as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Tech. Love my job, three deployments and currently finishing up a 1 year tour in South Korea. Been smoking meat for about four years and was turned on to this site by a close friend BamaFan (Tim). I've been to two North Florida Gatherings over the last few years and am hooked! Anyway I got rid of my smoking stuff due to the move to Korea but will be going to Colorado Springs to work for atleast the next four years. All that said, I got to build a pretty awesome amazon.com cart and gonna hit the pay button as soon as I find a house.
Well I look forward to learning from this endless pool of knowledge.
Thanks for your time,
Kyle

Welcome Kyle, and thank you for your service to this great country we live in and love!

No need to be embarrassed, I checked this site out for years before I joined as well. So many smart people, and they all try to help every chance they get.

That's kinda rough that you had to sell all your smoking gear. But on the bright side it's an excuse to buy new stuff!!

Good luck with your move to Colorado Springs , and stay safe brother! By the way now that I know your job and that your a Georgia fan that name is awesome!

Wow!!! You better put that talent back into use!!! Great stuff!!!

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment, it really started turning into a passion, and nothing better than seeing the smiles on friends faces.

Thats right rockstar, bulldog fan through and through. A bunch of us were at the N Florida Gathering sitting by the fire drinking a "peach cobbler concoction" that I made, and he made the statement that it was the bomb diggity, which with my job and being a dog fan developed into bomb dawgity. A story I'll always remember! And its an honor to have the ability to serve.
Thank you

Kyle glad to hear your about to be back stateside. We won't hold knowing Tim against you

Hope everything goes smooth with getting settled into a new place and you get back to smoking soon

Jerry,
Ready to be back in the States that's for sure! Thanks for giving me a fair shake even though Tim brought me around. Again, thank you and Mrs Karen for your hospitality, an event like that is what hooked/inspired this youngster. I hope I get the chance to make another gathering in the future.

Venture & bobank03,
Thank you for the support. And I look forward to being pretty active on here and learning from folks like y'all.

Welcome Kyle and thank you for your service. One of my old shipmates just came home from South Korea as an independent contractor with Raytheon. That's some good looking stuff you have pictures of above. Looking forward to seeing more.

Nice meeting you.
