That's what I'd call it, What would you call it?

Rubbed with  olive oil and authentic jerk seasoning, cooked with a flame kiss and basted at the end with a home made cider vinegar sauce with the same jerk rub.

Enjoy.

No brine or injection...moist and juicy

Thanks Justin, it's by far the best tasting chicken i've had cooking this way.

That looks great Keith!  I'm really diggin' that rotisserie setup.

Red
Thanks Red!   I love the setup...  no cost fuel but the best part it tastes so good.  It's also nice to watch the meat vs having it under cover, there's something primal about it too.

Yeah, buddy....something mesmerizing about watching a bird spin. I think there are more and more of us now utilizing a rotisserie as a change of pace. So far I have only used charcoal with mine, with the occasional handful of apple pellets thrown in, but I see you have some sticks in yours. Mine did not have enough power to turn 2 birds at once so I'm thinking a better unit in the future for a possible turkey spin. Great job and looks delish......Willie

Willie did you see this yet?

Oh i've also been doing stuffed hamburgers (in a flat basket on the spit) and ribs.    I might do a butt on it over the fire tomorrow.

No, I had not....or possibly forgot. Sweet looking set-up.....home made or purchased? I use a topless beer keg so must be careful with the spit being able to turn without getting in it's own way. I did a small butt on mine....was delish and a thumbs up from the GF so you are in for a treat. Thanks for the input....Willie

The add on to the spit i bought but everything else i put together.    I wanted to find something to expand the spit for more meat.   I can also fit two flat baskets this way.

Hey Keith, what kinda wood ya use there for the fire ? Gotta say, I'am digging that setup there ! Thumbs Up

This looks so good but She Who Must Be Obeyed would kill me if I set up another unit. I will just have to live vicariously through you Qview! Thanks for posting.
